OUR DIFFERENCE, OUR COMMITMENT

The PHILBERT story is one of bold choices.

In 2006, we took over the family estate with a new vision. Within just a few years, we tripled the size of our vineyard. And in 2012, instead of following the rules, we decided to break them: we bottled our own cognac and created PHILBERT. We do what we know best: working with nature, from the vine to the tasting glass. Today, our vineyard stretches across 160 hectares and 4 of the 5 crus of the Cognac appellation: Grande Champagne, Petite Champagne, Fins Bois, and Bons Bois.

A CULTURE OF DIVERSITY

Each of us has its own workplace in Charente, one in Étriac, the other in Touzac with its own vines, stills, and cellars. Different places, different approaches. Yet every decision is made together, and that balance is the soul of PHILBERT. This way of working sparks what we value most: synergy, curiosity, and challenge — the energy that fuels our vision of Cognac.

FREEDOM OF ACTION AS A WAY OF LIFE

For us, freedom is not just an idea, it’s a way of living. We draw inspiration from sports, travel, and learning — each experience feeding our creativity. Entrepreneurship came naturally, but returning to the vineyard grounded us in humility, reconnecting us to nature and essential values. PHILBERT is more than a cognac. It is a breath of freedom, bottled.
